UnMake is an initiative by a group of students, alumni, and faculty of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology to cultivate a sense of environmental consciousness through sustainable art production.
At heart, UnMake is all about sustainability and intends to build a global community of environment-conscious art lovers. From production to distribution, UnMake reproduces an artist’s work with resources that don’t add to the already burdened Earth of ours while providing business opportunities and a global platform to independent and emerging artists. Art is inherently a silent yet loudest form of communication, for it can resonate with untapped thoughts in one’s minds in in-explainable ways.
Art has been a powerful medium to alter cultures, societal structures, and civilizations for centuries and so, here we are, using art to create yet another revolution, a revolution led by artists.
